How it works

How an installation conversation becomes a project

In short: you describe the room, we discuss whether it fits, the room is assessed, the scope is written down, then the work is planned. Here is each step in plain language, without invented timescales.

  1. 1

    You send a message

The room, the property type, the area and what you want to change. A gallery reference or your own photo helps. Everything else is optional.

You choose what to share. WhatsApp opens with a draft you can edit.

  2. 2

    A first conversation

We talk about the idea and whether the project fits what we do. If it doesn’t, we’ll say so, and where relevant point you to the right specialist.

No promise of a quotation at this stage.

  3. 3

    Assessing the room

Photos and measurements first, then usually a visit. Services, levels, walls, ventilation, access and anything that might need another trade.

Ask about the arrangements and any charges before agreeing to a visit.

  4. 4

    Scope and quotation

A written description of what is included, what is excluded, who supplies the products and who is responsible for each part of the work.

Deposit, payment and guarantee terms will be set out in writing with the quotation.

  5. 5

    Planning the installation

Sequence, access, protection of the home, waste removal and, in apartments, any building or community requirements.

Dates are agreed after scope is confirmed, never assumed from a preference.

  6. 6

    Installation and handover

The work itself, finishing, a walk-through of the completed room and what to look after.

Before making plans

  • A photograph is a starting point, not a quotation.
  • Agree scope before discussing a start date.
  • An enquiry does not reserve a date or book work.
  • Check product suitability and supply separately.

If you live elsewhere

Owners abroad and property managers

Many homes on the coast are owned from the UK, Ireland or northern Europe. These are the practical things to raise early. We'll tell you what we can and can't take on.

Start with a WhatsApp message. Tell us your preferred language, time zone and how you would like to discuss the project.

You, a key holder, a neighbour or a property manager. We would agree who opens up, how keys are handled and who to contact on the day.

Initial photos and measurements can come from whoever has access. Whether a visit can go ahead without you is something to agree for your property.

We will be clear about which coordination we can take on and which needs your own representative. We do not offer unattended project management unless that is agreed in writing.

Yes. Choosing "more than one apartment" starts a conversation about scope. It does not imply any agreement about a building or development.

The next step

Tell us the room, the area and what you want to change.

Start by sharing your room, broad area and what you want to change. Photos and rough measurements help establish what needs discussing; a photograph alone is not a quotation.
